Theft From PennDOT In West Sadsbury Township

On October 15, 2025 State Police at Embreeville reported that around 9:18 A.M. State Police responded to a location along Swan Road in West Sadsbury Township for the report of a theft. Property was taken from the road closure site at the bridge located on Swan Road. Pennsylvania State Police is investigating. Among the stolen items: Fourteen Orange Reflective Traffic Barrels, Six Road Closed Signs, 6 Road Closed Metal Stands.

Additionally, the specific nature of the items (traffic control devices) means it would also violate 75 Pa.C.S. § 6126 (Interference with devices, signs or signals) of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code.
