Rescheduled: Resurfacing on Route 41 (Newport Pike) in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that resurfacing on Route 41 (Newport Pike) in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, has been rescheduled. The project limits extend from Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) to Route 741 (Strasburg Road).

Weather permitting, this work will begin the night of Tuesday, October 28, and continue from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM for about two weeks. It previously was expected to start this week.

Traffic will be restricted to a single lane with alternating directions of traffic being directed through the work zone with flaggers. There may be delays.

This work consists of milling and paving.

New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company, Inc., of New Enterprise, PA, is the contractor for this work.
