Snow will overspread the area from south to north this afternoon into Sunday evening. A changeover to a wintry mix is expected from southeast to northwest tonight, and will eventually progress as far west as the I-99 / Route 220 corridor, staying snow the whole time for the Laurel Highlands and Allegheny Mountains. A period of plain rain is expected in the Lower Susquehanna Valley. Precipitation tapers off Monday morning for most areas, but lake-effect snow showers will remain over the Laurels and Alleghenies.
