Stray Horse Perishes In Wednesday Night Salisbury Township Accident

Around 8:33 P.M. crews were dispatched to the area of Henzel Road near Newport Road (PA 772) in Gap, Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, PA for a vehicle accident. Observations to county radio indicated that involved in the accident were a vehicle and a stray horse. A request for a veterinarian was observed to put the horse down. There was no word on the condition of any of the passengers at the time this report was originally broadcast. Stay with WLRI for any future updates.

 

Update: A patient was transported to LGH for their injuries.
