At 541 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Phoenixville, or 14 miles north of West Chester, moving southwest at 15 mph. Winds up to 45 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm. Locations impacted include... Phoenixville, Collegeville, Royersford, Trappe, Schwenksville, Valley Forge, Paoli, Chester Springs, Pughtown, Lionville, Spring Mount, Lionville-Marchwood, Skippack, Spring City, Malvern, Evansburg, Audubon, Chesterbrook, Eagleville and Trooper. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is also occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
