Roadwork will be completed on Eighth Avenue beginning November 8th from South Culvert Street, East to the cul-de-sac. Portions of South Culvert Street and West Sixth Avenue will be affected as part of this roadwork as well. The projected schedule is as follows:
– Milling on November 8th and 11th.
– Final paving beginning the week of November 18th to last approximately 3-5 days.
This schedule is weather dependent. Due to the early cold weather expected to arrive this weekend, the temperatures must rise for the final paving to occur. We will update our media outlets (website, Facebook) as we receive updated information from the contractor. We ask that residents are mindful of this work and that vehicles not park along the roadway during this time. Access may be temporarily limited during the time of construction, but the contractor will allow access to those needing it.
