Heavy rain has been detected by the WLRI FastWeather Center and will impact our community of service. Be prepared for reduced visibility in the area and allow for additional time in your commute, if planning to travel before this system exits the area. You can rely on WLRI for any further updates related to this report.

NOW… A fast moving area of rain will quickly overspread the region by Midnight. At 950 PM, the leading edge of the rain was just west of a Warren, State College, Chambersburg line. Temperatures are near freezing across the higher elevations, and isolated pockets of freezing rain will be possible. The area of rain is moving northeast at 45 mph. The leading edge of the rain will be near a Wellsboro, Bloomsburg, Lancaster line by Midnight. Persons traveling overnight should be alert for icy spots.
