The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Lancaster County in south central Pennsylvania...
  Southeastern York County in south central Pennsylvania...

* Until 130 AM EDT.

* At 1025 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  heavy rain falling across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain
  have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Willow Street, New Holland, Paradise, Shrewsbury, Strasburg,
  Quarryville, Stewartstown, Gap, Delta, Wakefield, Cross Roads,
  Churchtown, Railroad, Brogue, Smithville, Holtwood, Sunnyburn,
  Shenks Ferry, Safe Harbor and Susquehanna Trails.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
