At 11:05 PM on May 12, 2023 a traffic stop was conducted, by Pennsylvania State Troopers from the Lancaster Patrol Unit for registration violation on a 2005 Acura TL traveling along U.S. Route 30 in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, PA. During the stop, criminal indicators were observed. A consent search of the vehicle yielded a stolen Ruger pistol located under the front driver’s seat. Edwin Martinez-Rodriguez was arrested and charged accordingly.
