Crash in Sadsbury Township Shut Down White Oak Road

On October 30, 2025 at 8:44 AM Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to the scene of an vehicle crash in the 6000 block of White Oak Road East, 1,128 Feet West of Symrna Road in Sadsbury Township, Lancaster County. The operator was identified as a 22 year old from Atglen who was operating a 2015 Jeep Compass. The crash occurred as the Compass was traveling westbound on White Oak Road. The Compass went off the roadway onto the right shoulder and struck a utility pole. Then rolled over onto it’s roof. It came to rest in the middle of the roadway. Speed and wet roadway contributed to this crash, according to the State Police report. There were no serious injuries that resulted from the crash. Sadsbury Township closed the roadway between Symrna Road and Country Lane until Pennsylvania Power and Light replaced the pole and restored the wires. The driver in this crash was charged with PA Code 3361 “Driving at Safe Speed”.
