Chester Water Authority to Restrict Southbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) for Utility Improvement in East Marlborough Township

King of Prussia, PA – Chester Water Authority is planning a right lane closure on southbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Old Forge Lane and Orchard Avenue in East Marlborough Township, Chester County, on Tuesday, September 17, through Friday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for water main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Chester Water Authority will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
