Starting this July, LanChester Community Emergency Assistance Service will be established as a public emergency resource service for individual area residents, families, non-profit, for profit and government entities (townships, boroughs, schools, etc.) experiencing a life changing event. As it can be very challenging and and quite overwhelming, the LanChester Community Emergency Assistance Service offers a all inclusive, local resource you can count on to help you address whatever emergency or urgent matter suddenly impacting your life. All services are free to members of the WNUZ listening area and are provided by our website at WNUZ.org/lceas and by trained and certified WNUZ volunteers. From appliance failures (i.e. oven, fridge, AC unit etc) to house fires, sudden death, lack of food, etc. the LCEAS is contains a wealth of publicly available information in one easy to find and search location. Backed by local resident volunteers who will work with you from start to finish in an effort to ensure you’re getting all the help we can find for you, regardless of your emergency scenario or financial status. WLRI / WNUZ continues to partner with local service organizations, emergency response services, local businesses and like minded organizations/ people from our community who want to pitch-in and help their neighbors in their time of need. Our approach is direct, secular, non-partisan, non-discriminatory and as rapid as we may be able to provide. If you know of someone that could benefit from the service, please tell them about this new service. Keep watching our website for updates on when the service will launch and be sure to check back often as we continue to add new resources and information regularly.
