King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Pennsylvania American Water will be performing utility construction on 8th Avenue in the City of Coatesville, Chester County, beginning Tuesday, March 5.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
  • Tuesday, March 5, through Friday, April 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on 8th Avenue at the intersection with Walnut Street.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
Pennsylvania American Water will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
